LITURGICAL

Praying with the Church

A spirituality that finds in the liturgy a privileged place of encounter with Christ and the source of all mission.

The liturgical dimension holds a central place in the life of Mother María Güell and the Congregation. In the liturgy, the Church encounters Christ and receives the grace needed to live out its mission.

“I would like everyone to take great care in praying well; humble, simple and fervent prayer is what pleases God.”

The Eucharist: source and summit

For Mother María Güell, the Eucharist was the very center of her spiritual life. From it flows charity, and to it every apostolic service returns.

Faithful and conscious participation in the Eucharist sustains daily dedication and renews the missionary spirit.

Communal prayer

The Liturgy of the Hours and communal prayer strengthen fraternal communion and keep alive the ecclesial dimension of spirituality.

To pray with the Church is to learn to love with the heart of Christ.

Relevance today

Today, liturgical spirituality invites us to rediscover the value of rhythm, silence and celebration as spaces where God acts and transforms.
